Cambridge Road Play and Learn Centre began operation in February 2005 and is conveniently situated with off street parking. 

 

It is a fully equipped centre providing care for children from 0 to 5 years.

Cambridge Road Play & Learn is a newly constructed purpose built Centre that provides:

Pedagogical Philosophy

At Cambridge Road Play and Learn Centre we offer a comprehensive, integrated service including care, education, health, safety and nutrition programs which work to foster all aspects of children's development - physical, personal, social, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing as well as cognitive aspects of learning.

 

We seek to know each child, based on observation and interaction and provide experiences that meet each child's unique interests and development.  Educators provide a balance between child led/initiated and Educator supported learning. They make use of spontaneous ‘teachable moments’ to scaffold children’s learning. We believe that play is essential to young children's learning; acknowledging and supporting children's interests and strengths to enhance and facilitate their learning process.

Under the National Law each Approved Service is assessed and rated under the National Quality Standard and the requirements of the National Regulations.
